The post office is now offering fixed personal loans, from £2,000 to £25,000. Typical 7.9% APR at the time of writing this. Rates go up to 12.5% APR which is still very competitive. The Bank of Ireland is the provider of The Post Office Loans. Some of the selling points are that you may be eligible for up to two payment holidays per year, payment protection insurance (not obligatory), and fast delivery of the loan to yourself via cheque or deposit straight into your bank account.
